downingtown West Stem Academy
The project involved the site work for 3 new additions to the Downingtown West STEM Academy in the Borough of Downingtown. Eagle Contracting was in charge of the outside site work for these additions and was on this project for over two years. Eagle installed 5 above ground basins, 2 underground seepage beds, an outside enclosed atrium, and a new parking lot for students.
Lock #24 Restoration Project
This project includes the remediation of an existing 200+ year old historic canal lock adjacent to the Lehigh River. Remediation included the installation of 8x10 vertical pressure treated lumber, restoration of the stone masonry walls, underpinning, by pass pumping, sheet pile installation and the construction of railroad tie timber retaining walls.
Marshall Bridge Embankment Stabilization Project
Eagle stabilized a less than 1:1 slope on Marshall Bridge Road adjacent to the Brandywine River. Project included clearing, benching of the existing slope, installation of 24” RCP, 2 inlets, 2 drop manholes and a DW endwall.
Waynesboro Country Club
Eagle installed two (2) new endwalls, rip rap and decorative stone veneer over endwall in accordance with approved details and design.
Hawthorne Subdivision Utility Installation
This project includes the site work and utility installation for a six (6) lot subdivision in West Chester, PA. For this project, Eagle installed a new 8” water main in residential subdivision and connection to existing concrete water main working in conjunction with Aqua America, Inc.
Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project
Eagle installed several new manholes in conjunction with sanitary sewer rehabilitation.
Warren Street Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project
Eagle replaced approximately 200 LF of 8” diameter sanitary sewer main in Norristown, PA. Project included the removal and restoration of the existing curb and sidewalk.
Stanley Avenue Storm Sewer
Project included the installation of approximately 400 LF of 15” SLCPP pipe directly in front of East Hempfield High School in conjunction with overlaying of the existing roadway.
